About Me

My photo
I am not a kitten but a mature aged feline. I have at home a Tom cat who I love dearly and two wonderful little kittens who made me this beautiful little hat. Originally from overseas, hence the full head of hair, I have settled here in Australia (17years) and love everything about the lifestyle and people.

INTERACTIVE POWERPOINTS

I have completed many PowerPoint's throughout the last three years. My first ever being in 2008. I found it so simple to use, student friendly, with simple instructions for teachers to scaffold lessons within the class. I would use PowerPoint's for all lessons and year levels (Prep upwards). I have found lots of uses for PowerPoint's although there can be an overuse of it, especially within the University lectures.
This site I have found is very informative, but time consuming to read. For me I need to practise, make mistakes, ask questions and then keep practising until I get it right.

Interactive PowerPoint's have amazing possibilities within the classroom. The idea of having quiz games etc as an effective interactive tool could be used as great hook for a unit of work or assessment tool for the design / creation/ of power points or any KLA.

Here are some sites I found quite interesting for PowerPoint presentations in the classroom.
